About this service
PERSPEK is a space to read, write, and share ideas from different perspectives. These terms apply when you use perspek.web.id, create an account, or submit writing through PERSPEK.
PERSPEK focuses on opinions, columns, analysis, reflections, and accessible writing. Scholarly journal discovery and publishing are managed separately through Jurnal Akademia. By using this service, you agree to the terms relevant to those activities.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, protecting your password or Google access, and telling us if you become aware of unauthorized account use. Do not impersonate another person.
PERSPEK and Jurnal Akademia share an account database, but login sessions are separate on each domain. We may restrict access when needed to address abuse, protect users, or meet applicable obligations.
Submissions and author rights
You retain rights in your original writing. For work submitted through PERSPEK after these terms take effect, you grant the operator a non-exclusive permission to store, review, edit with you, display, and promote accepted work while crediting the agreed author name or pen name.
That permission applies while the work is displayed and as needed to maintain editorial records. Work submitted before these terms took effect remains subject to the previous publication arrangement. Contact the editors to request withdrawal or correction; we will assess the request against relevant rights and the need to maintain an accurate publication record.
Responsibility for content
You are responsible for the information you provide, the originality of your writing, and permission to use quotations, images, and material owned by others. Clearly distinguish facts, views, and personal experience. Citing a source does not by itself permit copying copyrighted work.
Do not submit plagiarism, defamation, threats, attacks on personal dignity, another person's personal data without an appropriate basis, harmful code, or unlawful material. Disagreement and criticism of ideas are welcome when expressed responsibly.
Editorial process
Submitting work does not guarantee publication. Editors may request revisions, reject, delay, correct, label, or withdraw work that does not meet editorial standards, these terms, or applicable rules. Editorial decisions do not transfer ownership of your original work.
Published writing reflects the author's views unless identified as an official PERSPEK statement. Readers should check sources and context before relying on an article for important decisions.
Links and third-party services
PERSPEK may link to Jurnal Akademia, publishers, or other websites. Their operators are responsible for their content, availability, licenses, and policies. A link does not mean PERSPEK owns or endorses everything on the destination site.
Third-party material available through PERSPEK remains subject to its original rights and licenses. Access through our links does not grant permission to copy or republish it.
Availability and feature changes
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but may maintain it, fix errors, or change features. We do not promise uninterrupted access. These terms do not limit rights protected by applicable law.

Reports, changes, and governing law
To report content, request a correction, or object to an editorial decision, use the contact address below and identify the page or submission concerned. We will review reports reasonably.
We may update these terms. The latest version and effective date will appear here, and material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way. These terms are interpreted under Indonesian law without overriding rights the law gives users.
